Views for Days at Kolios Winery

Yesterday, one of my lovely friends spoilt me with a fun outing to Kolios Winery in Statos, Paphos. Situated high up on the mountains it had a view that took my breath away!

We enjoyed a short cellar tour with winemaker Marios Kolios where I discovered some delightful info, including the fact that their Persefoni wine was named in honor of the winemaker’s grandmother, who is the one who taught him to make and drink wine.

This was followed by a light Cyprus-inspired meal overlooking the valley; the perfect setting for a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
